Sporting Safaris Scotland have a set price for our pigeon shooting days. As the woodpigeon is a wild bird there can be no guarantees of large bags every day. We will try our utmost to provide our clients with the best sport possible.
There is no excess charge with us if you have a red letter day or shoot over 250 shells.
Sporting Safaris Scotland packages:
1. PROFESSIONALLY GUIDED DAYS WITH SCOTLAND’S TOP PROFESSIONAL PIGEON GUIDE
This day is for clients that are experienced in the field but don't have the required equipment to go pigeon shooting.
The guide will construct all hides and layout all decoys and pigeon aids. Clients will then be placed in hides to await the arrival of woodpigeons. Scotland's top pigeon guide will keep a watchful eye on you though the day to make sure you are getting as much shooting as possible - if the guide thinks better shooting can be had elsewhere you might be asked to move to this new location.
2. IN-HIDE TUITION WITH SCOTLAND'S TOP PIGEON GUIDE
This package is for the novice shooter that wants to draw from my skill and knowledge.
We will guide the client though the setting up of decoys, flappers, magnets and placement of hides. We will then accompany the client to the hide where we will guide him though the day pointing out flight lines, picking dead birds, leaving a landing space in the decoy pattern, wind direction and change of position if there are insufficient birds coming in to the decoys.
